Spring is here–or at least is trying!
And we are all stuck at home, more than normal–for some. But, it is important to get outside and get fresh air and sunshine, as much as possible. They are good for the soul, and good for your health.
But again, for those extra times you are stuck inside, why not make some yummy treats that will also soothe your soul without weakening your health? So… I thought it was time to re-post of a few of my favorite delicious and healthy sweet treats! Here’s a few of my faves that I’ve created and posted over the years. Bon Appetit!
Salted Caramel Cacao Cheesecakes in a Jar
These decadent cheesecakes in a jar are so fun and fabulous. Perhaps my absolute favorite of all.
Decadent 3 Layer BRAWnies
This a favorite for all death-by-chocolate lovers. And probably my second all-time most favorite. In fact, these 5 are probably my top 5 ever! A chocolate raw brownie layer on the bottom, chocolate “mousse” center, and ganache on top. Mmmmm, good! I use the ganache for many other Healthy Decadents also. In fact, each layer could stand alone, or be used with other yummies.
Lisa’s Reece’s Cheesecake Squares
This recipe came about during Resurrection Celebrations a few years ago, when I was surrounded by all the chocolate and peanut butter bad-for-you treats, and I wanted a Good for You-Naturally! one with those flavors, that beat them all out for taste as well.
As I said in original post, I could have drizzled the ganouch for more visually pleasing, but decided to go for a dollop for more taste enhancing.
Raw Carrot Cupcakes
This recipe ended up being extra special. I’d just made them while working on taxes–so should stay put and focused, but chose to jump in the car with them and go 300 miles to surprise my mom for her 85th birthday! She’d just been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer a few months earlier, so needed some good healthy food, that was still celebratory and yummy! We had a great birthday celebration! Her last.
1-2-3 Avocado Cacao Pudding
To finish this list up, here’s a super fast and simple Pudding, for a quick easy yummy treat!
